Justin began his architectural career in Chicago at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he completed his M.ARCH with a thesis focused on revenue-generating housing nodes to support people without housing. He joined Dirk Denison Architects after graduating, where he has 13+ years of experience acting as both managing director and senior project architect. As a designer, Justin is still driven by his thesis work — he is interested in improving the quality of housing for all, especially in regards to development and student housing. He also investigates design economy in his creations, or how one component can accomplish multiple jobs.

On his own time, Justin enjoys golf, exploring nature, and honing his drawing skills. He is the current president of his children’s CPS school fundraising committee, and won the award for World’s Best Dad in 2022.
